FELIX BAMERT
Hailing from a little town in Switzerland, Felix grew his passion for cooking at very young age from his parents at their restaurant. Ever since, Felix has journeyed through the culinary world gaining experience in fine dining. After 15 years working at restaurants in Switzerland, Felix moved to Thailand where he met his lovely wife and settled down. His love for the sea, the nature and the peace took him to the Maldives – more specifically to Mirihi.
During his 08 years as the Executive Chef of Mirihi, from 2011 to 2019, Felix revolutionized guest dining experience in Mirihi combining his wealth of modern culinary talent and his impeccable personalized service standard and most importantly his eagerness to personally ensure guest satisfaction.
Loved by the guests and the Team alike, Felix bid farewell to Mirihi to continue his culinary journey back in Thailand as well in Maldives.
After a nearly a year, Felix returns to Mirihi in August 2020 to take over Mirihi culinary experience from where he left and take it to another level. According to Felix, ‘It was a great experience been involved in preopening projects in Thailand as well as Maldives but certainly coming back to Mirihi is coming back home. I am very excited to work with the same Team and together we are looking forward to deliver a memorable dining experience for our esteemed guests.’
